This blog has only been "active" for a couple of months as I write this. However, since he's among my favourite comic book characters, I've been collecting images of Guardian / Vindicator for years. But not thinking that I'd ever display them, I didn't always record the individual source or artist. So if someone is not properly credited for the work, or for making it available, well, sorry 'bout that.
I can say this: I do not take or deserve any of the credit for any of the images below. I just enjoy and hope that anyone who happens to visit and who has yet to come across them enjoys them as well.
In some cases, right-clicking and opening the image in a different tab or window will display a larger version.
It seems only right to start with an image from Guardian creator John Byrne.
Here are a couple more images from Byrne, which I believe are commissioned work.
Which leads me to this piece by Mel Rubi.
Not that I'm hinting that Rubi can't draw the leaf, but I'm reminded of it because I first came across it on John Byrne's forum. I don't recall the exact thread, and I can't bear to linger in that place, so I am linking to the main page only. You can view several more John Byrne works involving Guardian / Vindicator, either solo or with the rest of Alpha Flight on the Art of John Byrne website.
The sketch below is by Dale Eaglesham.
Here's a Mike McKone commission piece found on comicartfans. To be given the choice of one piece of art based on this character, that is the one I'd select. I absolutely love it. In fact, it's the image on my phone's lock screen.
The above image is by a deviantart member who goes by the name "robomonkey147". There is no explanation provided with the image so I don't know why Wolverine's name is included. Check out his gallery though; very vibrant colour use.
Alternatively, let's look at a couple of black and white pieces.

Back to deviant art for this piece by someone who goes by the name of SpiderGuile, from France. Colours were provided by one Pascal Verhoef, from the Netherlands.
